For a great friend who will stay with you longer in times when you need to sip that cup of tea whilst pondering over what the day brings, a table you will sure not to waste money on is the teak coffee table. Simply put, these coffee tables last longer than you can imagine. The two types of teak of teak tables are Klasik and Henry coffee tables. They are both preferred because the essential factor here is the unique qualities teak brings to bear on them. Tapered legs are however a common feature of the Klasik type making it versatile in home use.
Small tables have many uses. It can function as simply a coffee table for drinks and such, or it can also function as a table for decors like lamps, little figurines, some picture frames, vases, and so on. It adds a more personal touch to your living or sitting room. If your sofas are situated at a certain corner of the room, coffee tables are also great in filling up that small space between your sofa and that wall. Basically, small coffee tables can really make the look of your room. There are many styles out there, from plain, traditional ones to contemporary ones, and even really cool ones. Normally they go as sets with the large tables, or they can be single units that you can complement with your other furniture. And the best thing is that these tables can be used as the main coffee style table for small spaces too.
If you plan on painting the whole table with a single solid color, pine wood will respond to this the best however wood with a strong and beautiful grain such as oak, maple, and cherry are better off stained because over time, with proper care and maintenance tables made from these types of wood will grow more beautiful. One more thing to think about is whether you can afford such type of wood or not due to the fact that different types of wood cost differently. For instance if you take into account wood grade, of course high grade will cost more than low-grade because it doesn’t have dents, and discoloration. Also hardwood is more expensive as they last longer than softwood.
